The Grape Wine Bar and Bistro, quietly nestled in the Ridgewood Village Shopping Center, is the perfect place to unwind at the end of a long day. We offer an extensive selection of wines from around the world, assuring you that we can please even the most discriminating palate. And to satisfy your appetite, we serve gourmet hand-prepared appetizers, entrees and desserts. Our bistro menu changes daily as Chef Jason Rolf personally selects the freshest locally available ingredients for his culinary creations.
Dinner prices vary depending on the chef's daily menu choices. Appetizers are generally priced from around $6 to $14. Our wine prices range from $5 per glass for the house wine to $160 for a bottle of our finest Cabernet. Tuesday nights are known as "dump night" at The Grape as wines opened a day or two before are sold for a 25 percent discount until a new bottle is opened. You can also make plans to drop in on Saturday nights for discounts on select bartender's choice wines.
The Grape features a cozy dining area and a richly appointed bar with built in wine display shelves stretching to the ceiling. A newly refurbished patio provides outdoor seating where you can sip a glass of wine and enjoy your dinner in an open air environment. A pleasantly appointed meeting & event room, with seating for up to 25, is also available for rent. Just let us know when you're coming, and how many will be there, and we will take care of the rest.

Meet The Team!
Wynn Rolf has called Waco his home since 1963 when he came here as a Baylor freshman. He spent 46 years working as an educator in Central Texas before taking over The Grape in May 2014. His lifelong appreciation for the subtleties of a good wine, coupled with a growing interest in the wine industry, made The Grape a perfect fit. Wynn regularly hosts vendors for wine tastings, ensuring that The Grape always maintains the best selection of wines for their patrons. Come by most any night they're open and it will likely be Wynn, himself, who graciously welcomes you to The Grape.
Jason Rolf became interested in cooking while working at restaurants as a young man. That interest led him to seek professional training at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Austin, Texas. The next 22 years carried him to the kitchens of restaurants across the country, such as Uchi, a Japanese sushi restaurant in Austin, Big Sky Resort in Montana, and the Montauk Yacht Club Resort in New York. Jason now manages daily operations while showcasing his unique culinary talents as head chef at The Grape.
Bartender & Event Coordinator
A trip to The Grape isn't the same without the warm welcome from our resident bartender Michelle! Michelle began working here four years ago. When she's not serving up delicious food and wine at The Grape, you can find her on the creeks and woods hunting and fishing.
Nikki began her bartending career in a pub in London, England years ago. Many watering holes later, she is enjoying her seventh year here at The Grape. When she is not tending bar, she is tending to the streets doing marathons and triathlons!
